Although in the previous "go to" work job, I brought my work home with me, had a company cell phone, yet for all the hours I spent working from home on off hours or days that my kids were sick, I still was not lucky to have as you put it a leaf day. Although I am just starting out in my virtual business, I am working on getting that first client and sometimes it takes alot of time and effort. I do however have certain hours that I dedicate to my kids, but think of new ways I can market my business, and I am back at the computer. You are correct, it is difficult to explain, that just because you are working from home does not mean you can take a vacation anytime you want. :) I think I spent most of my free time going thru VA networking site and getting absolutely everything I can. As well as tutorial videos, blogs and even looking at other websites. There is alot more involved in being a virtual assistant, and I am very proud to say I am one, and even more so, glad that I supercharged my membership with VA networking.
